7 WEEKS
of

ABUNDANCE

This year, My Sacred Warrior is bringing

SUMMER BACK to the children!!

I'm talkinG 7 WEEKS of ABUNDANCE,

focusing each week on one of the

7 shields it takes to be a Sacred Warrior:

Shield of Discipline, Shield of Creativity, Shield of Power, Shield of Harmony, Shield of Righteousness, Shield of Intuition, & Shield of Divinity.

These 7 rights of passage are the shields every warrior needs to return to their innocence, find your purpose, fulfill their mission, and manifest their abundance!

Everyday, we'll begin with a

rising guided meditation, daily journal entry,

yoga, and prayer.

This discipline teaches the warrior to

always put Spirit 1st - no matter WHAT

they're doing!

Our aim is to teach the warriors

that true abundance is

not grown from materialistic things.

True abundance, is found in your heART!

Warriors will dive deep into their heARTs and learn to utilize their artistic gifts and talents as tools to balance and align their 7 chakras:

Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, 1st Eye, and

Crown.

By the end of this program, warriors will have developed a stronger and more vibrant character as well as a deeper passion for their purpose!!

We're giving the children something more to do than just sit at home on their phones all day...

How do we

Warrior Camp Leads?

You are welcome to contact the Warrior Camp Lead, (727-877-0643).

Once your child is all signed up for camp, there will be a parent group chat for all parents to join. Although this is not mandatory, it is highly recommend to stay updated on any camp changes and announcements.

This also gives the parents an opportunity to get to know each other as well as  the Warrior Camp Lead. Any questions and/or concerns can be presented here.

Will Lunch be
provided?

Due to the many different allergies and other eating preferences,

lunch+snacks

 will not be provided.

Campers are required to bring their own lunch or snacks daily, with all food items being in a sealed lunch bag marked with the camper’s name. Sharing of food and containers will not be permitted. We are unable to  microwave food. If your child arrives at camp without a lunch, we will call you to bring a lunch for the Warrior.

Due to our sensitivity to nut allergies, My Sacred Warrior Camp is a nut-free zone (respectfully).

It is recommended that Warriors bring a refillable water bottle.

P.S.A.

No candy/artificial sugar candies/treats are allowed during camping hours. These sugars deteriorate the brain cells and tamper with children’s focus and attention span. If sweets is a necessity, we encourage you all to pack food items that contain natural sugary sweets such as cane sugar, agave, and honey.

COVID-19  PROTOCOL

Will face coverings be required?

Warriors will be required to wear face coverings when participating in camp. Exceptions will be made for eating or drinking.

Face shields can be worn in addition to a face covering but cannot replace a face covering.

Warriors must bring their own face coverings. We recommend having your Warriors bring an extra face covering in their bag or lunch box. We request that families have a conversation with their warrior about how and why to wear a face covering before attending camp.

How can I prepare my child to attend My Sacred Warrior Art Camp?

Parents/caregivers/guardians are encouraged to take their child’s temperature before arriving at the Museum. If the temperature reading is 100°F or higher, warriors must be kept at home. Upon arrival at camp, staff will take each child’s temperature again with a no-touch forehead thermometer. If a reading of 100°F or higher is recorded, the warriors will not be allowed to join us in camp.

Children are required to bring their own lunches; please send your children to camp with any snacks and drinks they may need with all food items being in a sealed lunch bag marked with the camper’s name, if possible, as food sharing will not be permitted.

Campers will need to bring their face covering with them each day.

What should I do if my warrior is ill?

Any signs of illness should be taken seriously, and the warrior must be kept at home. Please consult your pediatrician for treatment advice based on your child’s symptoms. If your child tests positive for COVID-19 during camp, we ask that you inform camp staff as soon as possible.

What do I do if my child has been exposed to COVID-19?

If your child has been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or a member of their immediate household is exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, the CDC recommends that they enter a period of quarantine after their last contact with the sick person and watch for symptoms.

We request that if your child has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, they do not come to camp until the following guidelines have been met:

  • Quarantine can end after day ten (10) without testing and if no symptoms have been reported during daily monitoring.

  • Quarantine can end after day seven (7) if a diagnostic specimen tests negative and if no symptoms have been reported during daily monitoring. The specimen may be collected and tested within forty-eight (48) hours before the time of planned quarantine discontinuation, but quarantine cannot be discontinued earlier than day seven (7).

Persons can discontinue quarantine at these time points only if the following criteria are also met:

  • No clinical evidence of COVID-19 has been reported through daily symptom monitoring during the entirety of quarantine up to the time at which quarantine is discontinued.

  • Daily symptom monitoring continues through day fourteen (14) of quarantine.

Close contact is defined as being within six (6) feet of someone with COVID-19 for fifteen (15) or more minutes, having direct physical contact or sharing eating or drinking utensils. It is considered close contact even if face coverings were worn.

What is My Sacred Warrior’s protocol if a child or Warrior staff member shows signs of illness?

If a child or Warrior staff member shows signs of a temperature 100°F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell, that person will be separated from the group immediately and will be required to leave the camp as soon as possible.

Any areas used by persons who are ill will be closed and thoroughly cleaned. Local health officials, staff, and families will be notified immediately while maintaining confidentiality.

Warriors or staff that have stayed home ill will not be permitted to attend or return to camp until at least ten (10) days have passed since symptoms first appeared, they have been fever-free and fever medication–free for seventy-two (72) hours, and other symptoms have improved.

Will activity spaces be sanitized?

The space will be cleansed daily, and team leads and staff will have supplies in each classroom for cleaning high-touch areas throughout the day.
